Ricons has achieved in Kenya and South Sudan the construction of a non-dangerous waste landfill with an area of approximately 4 hectares. For the nondangerous wastes landfill construction Ricons made the works of the landfill's base levelling; landfill's perimeter dike execution; landfill's base waterproofing execution, using a three layers system of geosynthetic clay liner, HDPE liner and geotextile liner; the execution of a leachate drainage and collection system to a wastewater treatment plant, and a gutter system to collect rainwaters. This landfill allows the waste storage in good conditions, without contaminating the environment.
